The Strength of our communities depends on more creative thinkers and confident leaders. Help us equip ATL’s youth with the tools to become both.
Reaching Early Creatives provides free, industry-standard training in music production to young people with limited access to creative outlets. Through self-expression, mentorship, and skill-building, we support academic engagement, build confidence, and help students prepare for long-term personal and community impact.

Since 2019, REC has reached
young creatives. We’ve supported students in pursuing higher education, provided industry opportunities, and helped build skills they carry beyond the studio.
our programs
REC offers comprehensive music production courses and experiential workshops to students ages 13–18 in Atlanta, GA, led by multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated, and Pro Tools Certified instructors.

BEAT Basics 101 & 102
A hands-on experience with beat construction, sequencing, and mixing.
Power In The Pen 101 & 102
A deep-dive into the anatomy of writing hit songs.
Get On Track
A interactive course on recording and mixing industry standard sessions.

REC offers in-school music technology residencies that build technical skills, support career pathways in music, and increase student engagement and academic performance. High School Residencies are designed for schools looking to expand access to hands-on music tech instruction.
Get pro tools
certified
Learn from REC’s Avid Certified instructors with real industry experience in music and post-production. This official course includes PT101 and PT110 and prepares you to pass the Avid Certified | Pro Tools Specialist exam—recognized by studios, post facilities, and academic institutions worldwide.
